Inspired by Cortina’s Olympic legacy and the purity of the Alps, Akoni presents the ALTITUDE SERIES, an exclusive capsule where performance meets mountain elegance.
On Saturday, February 14th, the collection will be showcased at Chalet Franz Kraler, Cortina, with an afternoon of celebrations and après-ski moments that capture the energy of winter sport and the sophistication of alpine living.
The capsule reimagines three AKONI icons, Hercules, Phoenix, and Spitzer, through a winter focused design language.
Crystal clear acetate structures meet bold proportions and expressive lenses, while the color palette draws from ice, snow, and reflected light, combining AKONI’s signature green with mirror blue and mirror green mustard tones to evoke a contemporary alpine aesthetic.
Created in collaboration with EYETECH, the ALTITUDE SERIES features advanced polarized outdoor lenses engineered for superior clarity, glare reduction, and protection in intense mountain conditions. Selected styles are enhanced with mirror finishes to optimize visual comfort at altitude. A dedicated made-to-order experience allows customers to select the preferred lens colors, expressing Akoni’s commitment to precision, innovation, and craftsmanship.
