Shipping Notice - Holiday Closure

Due to our holiday closure, all orders placed starting from June 3 will be shipped on June 8. We appreciate your patience and understanding.


SHIPPING POLICY

This shipping policy (“Shipping Policy”) applies to all purchases made at the Akoni.com online store (“Akoni.com” or the “Site”), operated by Akoni SA. No provision of this Shipping Policy is intended to override any mandatory laws to the extent that they cannot be contractually altered, changed, or otherwise modified.


GENERAL INFORMATION

Orders are typically processed within one (1) week from the day you receive the Akoni.com email confirming your order (excluding weekends and holidays). Once your order ships, you will receive a follow-up email with shipping details and an order tracking number.

During holiday periods or when specifically indicated, shipments may experience additional delays.


SHIPPING RATES

Akoni SA provides international shipping through Global-e, our trusted partner for global order fulfillment. Shipping fees and applicable duties/taxes are calculated at checkout and vary depending on your shipping destination and selected service.

For your security, a signature may be required upon delivery.


SALES TAX, DUTIES, AND OTHER FEES

Sales tax, import duties, and other fees are calculated and displayed at checkout where applicable. You are responsible for any additional local taxes or fees not collected during checkout.


SERVICE AREA

Akoni.com ships worldwide through our partner Global-e. If you are unable to complete an order on our Site, your region may not yet be within our service area. We recommend using our Store Locator to find the nearest authorized Akoni retailer.


SHIPPING REQUIREMENTS

All orders must include a valid street address. We are unable to ship to P.O. boxes, APO/FPO addresses, or regions not supported by our service provider.


ORDER STATUS

After your order ships, you will receive an email with your tracking number and shipping details. Please note there may be a delay between when the tracking number is issued and when it becomes active on the carrier’s system. Check the carrier’s website periodically for updates.


CUSTOMER SERVICE

If the product you ordered on Akoni.com arrives damaged, incorrect, or not as described, please contact our Customer Service team:

If your package is lost or arrives damaged, you may also contact the carrier directly using the tracking number provided in your shipping confirmation email.

Holiday Closure

Our offices are closed during the holiday period. All customer service and return requests will be processed starting January 7.


PRE-ORDERS

Certain products on our website are designated with a “Pre-Order” tag and are made available for advance purchase. By placing an order for pre-order items, you acknowledge and agree that these products will not be shipped according to standard delivery timelines.

Pre-order items are scheduled to begin shipping on the date indicated on the product page. Shipping dates are estimates and may be subject to change due to circumstances beyond our control.

All pre-order sunglasses are eligible for free shipping. Please note that if pre-order items are purchased together with in-stock items, shipping for the entire order may be subject to the pre-order shipping schedule.

By completing a purchase of pre-order products, you expressly consent to these terms and acknowledge that delivery will occur in accordance with the pre-order schedule.


MADE-TO-ORDER

Certain products on our website are designated with a “Made-to-Order” tag, which means these products are custom-made specifically for your order based on your selected specifications (such as custom lenses, non-standard design elements, bespoke components, personalized engravings, or other modifications requested by the customer, etc.).
As these products are manufactured only upon placement of your order according to your specifications, they are non-returnable and non-refundable. By purchasing a Made to Order product, you acknowledge and accept that it cannot be returned for a refund or exchange.
